A Little Consulting Humor

A man walks into a Silicon Valley pet store looking to buy a monkey. The store owner points towards three identical looking monkeys in politically-correct, animal-friendly natural mini-habitats.

Beneath the cage of the first is written, $500, below the second is $1500 and the third is $3000.

"They look alike," he says to the owner. "Why are the prices so different?"

"That first one there can program in C," answers the store owner and the second one knows Visual C++ and Object-Relational technology."

The startled man then asks, "So what can that third one do?"

"To be honest," the store owner replies, "I've never seen it do a single thing, but it calls itself a Consultant."
